The approved Hotel is The Naumi Hotel where we have been successful in agreeing a generous discounted rate. Auckland Airport is only about 5 minutes by taxi to the Naumi Hotel, with the Papatoetoe Club only another 10 - 15 minutes by car from the hotel. The venue is the Papatoetoe Cosmopolitan Club (PCC) in Auckland. The venue is located between Walsall and Cannock in the West Midlands and is renowned for its fantastic playing conditions in superb surroundings. 1 hour. Approximate taxi cost from Birmingham Airport to Landywood is £60 - 75 and approximate journey time is 30 minutes, subject to traffic conditions. Outside of these hours, the station can be reached by taxi or by walking from the terminal. But in considering the question as to the top players outside those on whom is stamped genius, Open Billiards Club there is not very much to choose. The break was made during a match in Division 1 of the Western Valley’s Billiards League between the Liberal Club, Abertillery and the Powell’s Billiard Hall, Cwm. On Saturday 22nd of May 1937, the Western Valley’s Billiards League celebrated a successful season with an annual supper and presentation held at the Station Hotel, Abertillery. Division 1 winners, the Abertillery Liberal Club was presented the Burroughes and Watts’ Shield and Mr Bryn Gravenor of the club was awarded the W. Brown Cup.
