UPVC Replacement Door Handles

Over time the handles on your doors will get worn out and will require replacement. It is essential to keep the same dimensions as the handles that were previously used when replacing them.

Spring Cassette

The spring cassette is positioned in the base of the door handle backplate providing a sprung solution to return the multipoint lock handles back to their original position after use. Previously a lot of handles did not have a spring integrated into them, and without it they can droop or drop once the locking mechanism is removed. This simple component is the most effective way to address this issue. It also helps prevent your door from getting stuck in the closed or open position, as they aren't easy to close manually.

These spring cassettes are specifically designed for use with multipoint locks that are sprung but they won't work with multipoint handles that are not sprung and you will need to have a hole specifically cut in your backplate in order for them to fit (please check the image for a technical diagram). They are a replacement for existing broken or missing cassettes in the door handle backplate of numerous kinds of uPVC doors.
