Natura &Co completed the acquisition of Avon Products, Inc. in January, making it the fourth-largest pure-play beauty company worldwide. The shareholders will hold 76% of the new company. This transaction will be subject to regulatory approvals.

In January, Natura &Co plans to begin trading shares using ADRs on the New York Stock Exchange. This will allow the group leverage its brand synergies, expand its product offerings and reach 200 million people around the globe.

To help drive the next phase of growth, the company has also appointed an entirely new leadership team. Roberto Marques will be the Group Chief Executive Officer and Angela Cretu will lead the company's global business. Apart from overseeing the global oversight of the Natura brand as well as overseeing the company's global operations, she will be in charge of the company's development and operations outside of Latin America.

Joao Paulo worked for a total of twenty years at Unilever before joining Natura. He held several positions, including Vice-President Supply Chain. His last position with the company was Vice President of Operations and Logistics.

Ferreira is also a member of the Executive Team of the C-Suite Department. He is not a buy first, ask questions later type of person.

Angela Cretu

Angela Cretu, an Avon veteran and a member of its top management team, will take over as the company's chief executive officer. With more than 20 years' experience at the helm of a leading beauty brand, Cretu is poised to be the leader of Avon's global operations and innovating.

The Avon CEO has long been a vocal advocate for women of the world and has been a firm believer in the concept of gender equality. She has been involved with numerous campaigns that have promoted positive change for women in developing countries. The most prominent are those aimed at reducing gender-based violence and to promote economic empowerment for women.

Cretu has held leadership positions at several other companies in addition to her role as Vice President of Avon. She was Vice President for South-East Europe, Group Vice President for Central and Eastern Europe, and General Manager for several regions.

Fernando J. Acosta

Acosta is a senior executive leader at Avon. Acosta was appointed Senior Vice President and Latin America President in 2011. He was recently appointed Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer. Charles Herington, the Company’s Executive Chairman, will be reporting directly to this position.

He worked for many years at Unilever before joining avon team. He has extensive experience building consumer-oriented businesses in emerging markets. He is also an investor and member of the board at RoC Skincare New York.

He is the Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer at Avon. He also has overseen the development and implementation of a fresh digital approach to social selling.

Fernando Acosta started his career as a management trainee at Unilever. He has worked in Europe as well as the United Kingdom. Later, he held high-level positions within Unilever's Latin American operations.

He was the Category President for Latin America at Unilever from 1999 until 2004. His responsibilities included overseeing the most popular brands of the company like Dove. In addition he was also involved in the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty an international initiative that launched innovative products like Pro Age.

After his time as a senior vice-president for Unilever's Middle Americas business, he took on a larger international role. He served as Brand President for Avon Leadership Program Dove Global at Unilever from 2006 to 2008. During this time, he was based in New York.

He was previously the Regional President for Latin America at Avon. His responsibility included driving sales and establishing the brand's Latin American strategy. He also assisted in the development of innovative product lines like Pro Age.

James Scully will be responsible for the company's supply chain across the globe, as well as all finance and IT functions. Scully will also be accountable for the Avon's transformation plan. This is a key element of Avon's growth strategy.
